Passport Photograph Guidelines
Width 3.5 cm and height 4.5 cm (equivalent pixel ratio 200x260 minimum, 530x690 maximum). Face coverage must be 60-70% showing forehead, eyes, nose, and chin. White background, clear view, no cap or goggles.
Scanned Signature Guidelines
To be signed inside a rectangular box of size 2 cm x 7 cm. Minimum resolution 250x80 px; Maximum resolution 580x180 px. Sign only with black or dark blue ink pen. Signature in ALL CAPITAL LETTERS will NOT be accepted.
GATE Upload Specifications - Candidate FAQ
Candidates must upload their passport photographs in JPG, JPEG format. Portals reject other file formats (such as PNG or PDF) to maintain standard server processing protocols.
Signatures must be scanned and uploaded in JPG, JPEG format. Clean white background paper is required.
Passport photographs must be exactly 276 × 354 px (or equivalent aspect ratio). Scanned signatures must be cropped to 551 × 157 px.
Photographs must be between 5 KB and 600 KB. Signatures must be compressed between 3 KB and 300 KB.
